So, you want to learn a little bit about me, eh?

Well, I could go on and on about my passion for photography and how my father bought me my first camera and thus lit the spark as a small child...blah, blah, blah! Come on, you have read this on everyone's web site. Here are a few things about me. I would love to learn about you!

1. I like pizza. But, it has to be really good pizza. Not crappy pizza pretending to be good. Just really, really good.

2. The same rules apply for sushi and coffee.

3. I live in Concord, NC with my wife, three dogs and two cats. As a photographer, I travel a lot and when I return from a trip I am usually attacked at the door by everyone listed above, though the order sometimes varies.

4. I sing in the shower. Poorly, but loud.

5. I will travel anywhere (yes, anywhere) in the world to photograph someone interesting.

6. You are interesting! Where are we going?

7. I am left-handed but play golf right-handed. I have no idea what this means.

8. I grew up in Iowa but lived in Southern California for 21 years. I never did learn how to surf.

9. I got my start as a pet photographer. When I shot my first wedding, I noticed that there was significantly less drooling involved.

10. I believe that you will never fully recover from hiring a bad photographer .
